What $PSYNGA is

$PSYNGA is NEO-CHINA arriving from the future. It trades against four tokenised stocks. Every trade earns fees, and those fees build a reserve made of the same four stocks.

TokenTracks
BABAAlibaba Group
FUTUFutu Holdings
TSMTaiwan Semiconductor (TSMC)
EWTiShares MSCI Taiwan ETF

The reserve sits in the coin's own treasury contract. Any holder can:

  • Redeem: hand coins back and receive their share of all four stocks.
  • Borrow: post coins as collateral and borrow stock tokens from the reserve.

How the treasury fills up

Trading fees, not the price of $PSYNGA, fund the reserve.

  1. Every swap in the four pools pays a trading fee.
  2. Anyone can call collect() on the treasury. It pulls the fees earned so far.
  3. Abyss keeps its protocol share. The rest arrives at the treasury.
  4. Of what arrives, 5% is set aside for the platform. The other 95% joins the reserve.

The reserve only grows from fees and from redemption fees. Backing per coin is the reserve divided by the coins in circulation. Coins sent to the dead address no longer count.

You can check it yourself on the treasury contract (, Read Contract tab on the explorer):

FunctionWhat it tells you
assets()The four reserve tokens, in the order every list uses
reserve(token)Reserve held in that token, loans out included
liquid(token)The part on hand now, loans out excluded
backing(token)Reserve per coin, scaled by 10^18
quoteRedeem(amount)What amount coins would pay out right now
Buying and selling

$PSYNGA has a pool on Abyss against each of the four stocks: PSYNGA / BABA, PSYNGA / FUTU, PSYNGA / TSM and PSYNGA / EWT.

  1. Open $PSYNGA on Abyss:
  2. Connect your wallet on Robinhood Chain.
  3. Pick the stock you want to pay with or receive.
  4. Enter the amount, check the price and slippage, and confirm.
Always check the token address against the one on this site: . Copycat tokens with the same name are common.
Redeeming $PSYNGA for the stocks

Redeeming burns your coins and pays you your share of all four reserves at once, minus a redemption fee. That fee stays in the reserve, so redeeming raises the backing for everyone who stays.

To do it by hand on the explorer:

  1. Get a quote. On the treasury, call quoteRedeem(amount), where amount is in the coin's smallest units (18 decimals). It returns one number per reserve token, in the order of assets().
  2. Approve. On the $PSYNGA token contract, call approve:
    • spender = the treasury address
    • amount = the coins you will redeem
Type the treasury address in by hand. Explorer shortcut buttons such as "Self" fill in your own address, and that approval does nothing.
  3. Redeem. On the treasury, call redeem(amount, minOuts, to):
    • amount: the same number as in step 1
    • minOuts: four minimums, one per token in assets() order. Use the quote, or a little less.
    • to: your wallet address

redeem collects fresh fees before it pays out, so you get at least the quote and often a little more.

If one of the four tokens ever stops working, redeemSkipping lets you redeem without it. The amount you skip stays in the reserve for other holders.

Borrowing against $PSYNGA

You can post $PSYNGA as collateral and borrow any of the four stock tokens from the reserve.

TermValue
Borrow limit80% of your collateral's share of each reserve
LiquidationWhen debt in any token passes 84% of that share
Interest a year, compounding every second
Price oracleNone. You borrow what your coins already back, so stock prices don't move the limits.
What liquidation means: if your debt in any token goes past 84%, anyone can liquidate the position. All your collateral is burned and your debt is written off. You keep what you borrowed but lose every coin you posted. Interest is the main thing that pushes a loan towards 84%, so repay or add collateral well before then.

To do it by hand on the explorer:

  1. Approve the treasury to spend your $PSYNGA (same as in redeem, step 2).
  2. Post collateral: addCollateral(amount).
  3. Check your limit: maxBorrow(yourAddress) returns one amount per token.
  4. Borrow: borrow(amounts, to), with four amounts in assets() order. Put 0 for the tokens you don't want.
Repaying and taking your collateral back
  1. Check what you owe: debtOf(yourAddress).
  2. Approve the treasury to spend the stock token you are repaying.
  3. Repay: repay(yourAddress, amounts), with four amounts in assets() order. Interest is paid first, then principal. A repayment can't leave a tiny remainder below the minimum debt, so pay the loan off in full or leave a real balance.
  4. Take your coins back: withdrawCollateral(amount, to). While any loan is open, you can only withdraw what keeps you under the 80% limit.
